How to Turn On/Off TalkBack in Adroid Device


TalkBack is a very good accessibility option which was provided by google in android devices since ever from 2017. This options is very useful for the people who are having low vision. This option gives a spoken feedback to outside when you touch or perform any action in your device. When it is enabled in your device, every action of your will be spoken back loudly so that, it helps the people with low vision what is happening in their device. With this, they can easily interact and can perform what is needed.

When TalkBack is in enabled mode, it is not like normal operation, it's a different way to operate. All actions has to be performed with double-taps. But, for normal user it feels very uneasy to use it. Sometimes when your kids operating your device or unknowingly it may get on automatically. That time you feel very uncomfortable. Here, we will show you "How to turn On/Off TalkBack in Android Device". 

Now, to disable TalkBack mode, your need to go to Accessibility in the Settings and disable the TalkBack Off. This may differ depends on manufacturer. In some device your to goto Moresetting where you can find Accessibility inside of that. But, generally you need to navigate to Accessibility in your device. As discussed, when it is in On, operation would be different.

For Istance to access Settings, follow the precedure

  • Make sure you use TWO fingers and swipe down or up from your device to open the Notification or to find SETTINGS option.
  • The, touch on the SETTINGS symbol once and then double-tap it to open it.
  • Now, use your two fingers again to scroll down to find ACCESSIBILITY (in some divices it will be in more settings). Follow as per your device options. 
  • Tap on ACCESSIBILITY, and then double-tap it to open.
  • Now, press once on TALKBACK and double-tap it again
  • Here you can see option to Turn On/Off. Select the toggle button and double-tap again to TURN ON/OFF
  • Then select OK.

That's it, you are back to the normal mode again.
